Get your dog a elevated dog feeder this Christmas!
It’s important to ensure that your dog has the right dog feeder for its body structure, habits and breed to ensure that they are comfortable and healthy.
Elevated dog feeder’s help dogs digest food more easily by preventing in stomach bloating and swallowing air while eating. They prevent the likelihood your pup will choke or have trouble swallowing food because it allows for a comfortable angle to dine. Another major benefit is it keeps food off of the ground, where dust and dirt are often the “season” on dog food.
Consider your dog’s eating “style” before purchasing an elevated dog feeder. If they are a messy eater and play with their food, buy a more durable ceramic bowl with a non-slip material at the bottom. If your pet has a rounded, wide face, than maybe a curved stainless-steel dog bowl would best suit their needs.
Purchasing an elevated dog bowl can protect your pet from unnecessary health dangers and make them more comfortable and at ease while enjoying the delicacies of dog food!
Doggie Couture Shop is your one stop shopping place for your dog bowls and dog feeders this holiday season. Doggie Couture Shop has -
Acrylic Bowls
Ceramic Bowls
Elegant Bowls |
Portable Bowls
Stainless Steel Bowls
And a wide selection of dog treat jars and dog placemats!

Winter care for your pet!
The leaves have changed into beautiful shades of red and yellow, the first sign that cold weather is upon us! As enjoyable as snow-filled holiday season can be, it’s important to take the necessary precautions to protect your furry friend from the harm of old man winter.
Keep Your Dogs Nearby. Few things sound more appealing than curling up in front of a fireplace, even for your pet! It’s important to keep careful watch over your dog and the time they spend outside. Smaller dogs have a higher likelihood of freezing in cold weather outside. Also, pets can lose their scent during heavy snow, causing them to get lost and not be able to find their way.
Monitor your dog's health. Be smart with your pup’s health in the winter. Don’t have your pet shaved fully and be sure to dry them off with a blow dryer after they’ve gotten wet and been outside. Be sure to wipe them down completely after coming from outside because they could ingest antifreeze or other harmful chemicals from licking their paws. It’s also important to increase their protein intake during colder months so you can keep their fur in top shape! Remember to rub some petroleum jelly on the soles of their feet to keep their paws from cracking.
Doggie Couture Shop has wonderful dog socks and dog shoes to keep their paws warm when going on their walk or when they are out "doing their business". Check out the winter dog boots too - they can be warm and be fashionable too!
All in all, just be smart with your pet during the winter months to ensure that you and your whole family can enjoy a safe and memorable holiday season!
